Honda CRF description
2013 HONDA CRF50F, The World's Best Beginner Bike. How many thousands of beginners have had their first taste of motorcycling on a Honda 50? Hundreds of thousands, for sure. And its easy to understand why. The CRF50F offers up an unbeatable combination: Its bulletproof engine develops smooth, easy-to-use power, a three-speed transmission with automatic clutch, and a tough suspension that stands up to youthful enthusiasm. And for adults, the CRF50F makes sense too: an adjustable throttle limiter lets you tailor the power to the appropriate skill level, and the proven reliability means more time riding and less time taken up by maintenance and repairs. Important Safety Information Parents need to consider their youngsters age, size, ability and maturity before allowing them to ride. See owners manual for additional safety and supervisory information. Designed exclusively for off-road operator-only use. Always wear a helmet, eye protection and protective clothing whenever you ride. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Always obtain written permission before riding on private land. Whenever you ride off-road, follow the Tread Lightly guidelines, and always keep on established trails in approved riding areas. Use common sense, keep your riding area clean, respect the rights of others when you ride. Operating your motorcycle with a modified engine, emission control system, or noise control system may be illegal.

Tue, 14 Feb 2012When it’s minus nine outside, riding motorbikes should be the last thing on any sane person’s mind. Riding them off-road, nearly two thousand feet above sea level seems even more stoopid. But that’s where I was a week last Saturday.
Moriwaki MD250 - the stink wheel eradicator
Tue, 31 Aug 2010This beautiful motorcycle is the Moriwaki MD250 road racer, the replacement for 125cc two-strokes in MotoGP come 2012. The alloy beam chassis houses Honda’s diminutive CRF250X uni-cam motor, normally seen wearing long travel suspension and knobbly tyres. The quick revving liquid cooled four-stroke motor offers electric-start convenience and a maintenance schedule that most two-stroke racers can only dream of.
Will the road-going RCV look like this?
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Honda announced in a dry-as-you-like press release that a new bike was coming. Not another motorcycle-cum-medical aid like the DN-01 or Integra, this is going to be a proper bike. A bike in a similar vein to previous bikes in the RC series, the RC30, RC45 and RC51, aimed squarely at winning races. So what's it going to look like?
