Honda CRF description

2011 Honda CRF250X, CRF250X - The trail ahead of you twists and turns, dips and climbs, traverses dirt, mud, rocks, logs... you name it. You take a deep breath, twist the throttle, stand up on the pegs, and congratulate yourself once again for choosing to ride a Honda CRF250X. Built for the extreme demands of enduro and cross-country competition, the CRF250X gives you a wide, tractable powerband and rugged, lightweight chassis that allow it to go almost anywhere you — or the course designer — can imagine. You'll love the way the Unicam four-stroke engine's immense torque hauls you out of sticky situations, and there's no shortage of top-end horsepower, either. Premium Showa suspension keeps everything under control, with a huge range of adjustability so you can get the ride just the way you like it. And new black rims for 2011 give the CRF250X a more aggressive look.

Honda's latest Cub

Fri, 18 May 2012

Honda released their original C100 Super Cub way back in 1958 when other bikes at the time proved to be notoriously unreliable and difficult to ride. Since then, they have sold over 27 million C90s, with the step-through framed bike proving to be easy to ride and even easier to maintain. Looking like it's come straight from the film WALL-E, the new UNI-CUB might have two wheels but any similarity with a Honda C90 ends there.

X-ray: Marquez's Suter Moto2

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

Learning in the quickest and most painful manner with some huge crashes, Marc Marquez has grown into a championship contender in his first year in Moto2. A debut win in Le Mans saw the rookie go on to win four races in a row and become a glaring orange nuisance in the championship peripherals of Stefan Bradl. As success has gone Marquez's way there have been complaints from riders of the same chassis that this is down to Suter giving the Spaniard preferential treatment.

I'm buying a Honda SH300i scooter

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

I want to buy a second bike to get across town on the daily commute as I currently ride a 183bhp ZX-10R to work and while it's a peach of a bike, it tempts me into doing bad things on a daily basis. This has to stop. My criteria is fairly simple: I want something that is cheap to buy (close to £2k), cheap to run, frugal on the fuel, easy to ride, nimble through traffic, dull enough to not get nicked and ABS is a deal-maker.
