2009 CRF 250X HONDA - BOUGHT THIS BIKE NEW FOR THE WIFE IN 2010, SHE SAID SHE WANTED TO GO RIDING WITH US ON THE GRAVEL AND DIRT ROADS. NEW HELMET-RIDING BOOTS AND GLOVES. WE LEFT FROM THE HOUSE, DOWN THE ROAD ABOUT 9 MILES SHE TRYED TO TURN AROUND FELL OVER AND BROKE HER ANKLE, THE BIKE HAS BEEN SETTING IN THE OFFICE SINCE. IT HAS 18.2 MILES ON IT- LOOKS LIKE NEW- GAS DRAINED AND A BATTERY TENDER CONNECTED. AT 65 NOW SHE SAID SHE WOULD NEVER RIDE IT. IT HAS NOT BEEN TITLED I HAVE THE CITIFICATE OF ORIGIN FROM THE DEALER- I ADDED THE ACERBIS HAND GAURDS- THERE IS SCRATCH ON THE RIGHT TRAILING ARM AND ON THE RIGHT MOTOR COVER- A SMALL SCRATCH ON THE LEFT SIDE PLASTIC- I HAVE TAKEN PICTURS OF THESE. THE PRICE OF THE BIKE NEW WAS $4,850.00

45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013

Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.
