Bike has been in storage for 5 years. After a little work, the bike is running fine; however, it has a coolant leak, most likely at the water pump. Engine oil can be contaminated with water. I have purchased the two water pump seals; however, I have not installed them. They will be sold with bike. Bike exterior appears to be in really good shape, plastics are a little faded with some minor scratches. Side motor case has been repainted. Rear tire in good shape, front tire is weathered from age and forks have leaked at some point. Overall in very good shape for it's age and not being restored. Bike is sold as is. Gresini Promotes Moto2 Pilot Pirro to Ride CRT Machine in 2012 MotoGP Championship
Mon, 05 Dec 2011Gresini announced the re-signing of racer Michele Pirro, with a promotion from the Moto2 class to the premiere MotoGP class. Pirro raced for Gresini in the Moto2 class in 2011, finishing ninth overall with a third place finish and a victory in the season-ending Valencia round. For 2012, Pirro will compete in the MotoGP class riding a CRT bike with an FTR chassis and a Honda CBR1000RR engine.
