Honda CR description

Special Bike. Tons of original parts on this, not to mention the nearly perfect exhaust pipe and silencer.  I tried to capture the few small dents in the pipe in one of the photos.  I tightened up the seams and took the majority of the dents out.  A true professional could make the pipe like new again. The pipe is very solid

I restored this one with the weekend vintage racer in mind.  Bike has PVL electronic ignition and 150lbs of compression. 40 over and she runs very very very strong.  Tank has several dents that can be easily removed if you wanted to do that.  I did not hook up the original kill switch, thought if you were going to race it you would replace with a wonder button.  Either way you've got a perfect original switch kill switch, just need to splice it in if you want to do that.

This is the perfect bike to race and have fun on and when that's done, you could turn her into a trailer queen pretty easily.  Bike will need tires if you are going to go racing, the only reason I did not replace is most people have a personal preference.  Mine is Dunlop

Bike has been stored dry for about 6 months since the top end rebuild and the screaming around my neighborhood.  The neighbors will be glad its gone, but I won't.  Hard to part with this one but I have a few too many bikes at the moment.  This one needs to go to a good home.

I've set it at very fair reserve for the quality of this bike.  The pictures are a fair representation of the quality of the bike.

Frame Number: CR250M- 1011150  Engine Number: CR250ME-1016031

I'll try to respond to any intelligent questions about the bike, although I do believe the pictures tell the story  No I won't share the reserve

$500 immediate deposit due at end of auction.  Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.  I have had excellent service from U-Ship, very reasonable prices.  Will work with your shipper to get your bike to you ASAP

Bike does not have a title, Bill of Sale only

Good Luck

Honda Reports Q4 2011-2012 Results

Fri, 27 Apr 2012

Honda set a new record for most motorcycles sold in any quarter over the first three months of 2012. The Japanese manufacturer sold 3.456 million motorcycles over the quarter ended March 31, 2012, capping off its 2011-2012 fiscal year. By comparison, Honda sold just 2.934 million units over the same quarter last year.

Actual Motorcycle or My Little Pony Character?

1 of 6Next Last A little while ago, we published a review of a motorcycle Honda produces for the Indian market called the Unicorn Dazzler. Yes, that’s the actual name of a production motorcycle designed by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, a Honda subsidiary. In his review of the 150cc motorcycle, Rajeev Gaikwad said the Honda Unicorn Dazzler was “a handsome commuter with an enthusiastic and proven engine” though it was underwhelming in terms of performance and handling as the higher-priced successor to the regular Honda Unicorn also sold in India.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Wed, 08 Dec 2010

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.
