Honda CBR description

I am selling a 2013 Honda CBR 250R ANTILOCKING BRAKES in like new condition. I purchased this bike from a dealer less than 3 mons ago with 83mis on it and completely stock (basically new, the guy rode it twice and brought it back they told me). I have been driving the bike pretty much every day (it gets ~75 miles-per-gallon need I say more..) so it has 3,510 mis on it now. It has never been dropped, though it did tip over once in an uneven parking lot and the only damage was a few scratches on the heat shield of the stock muffler. I have taken the bottom fairing off that shields the exhaust because I hit a raccoon a few days ago and it busted the fairing on 1 side (a cheap fix probably $30 but I kind of like the street fighter look without it). If the seat looks a little raised it's because I inserted more foam inside the seat: a cheap fix to make my butt more comfortable. The bike has the following modifications that I have made myself in the short time I have owned it:-13t front sprocket (sooo much better than the stock 14t)-MotoGP Growler slip-on exhaust (this thing is louddd, makes this little 250 sound big; I have a baffle arriving for it in a few days)-K&N Performance air filter-The extra foam I put in the seatI still have all the stock parts. So for the $4000 you will get the following:-The bike with its above modifications-Stock muffler-Busted under-fairing piece and bolts-Stock filter (in the k&n box with the extra k&n grease)-Stock 14t sprocket (in the 13t package)-A white large sized speed and strength helmet with a clear shield (pre-owned but in box with the helmet cover)Cash ONLY!! I'm still making payments on the bike so I can provide some proof of purchase and all but I will have to mail you the title after using your money to pay the bike off. No test drives unless I have the money in my hand and you have a valid class M or MP license, though I will be glad to give you a demonstration of the bike. Any questions or inquiries please text or call

Postie Bike Challenge [video]

Fri, 19 Jun 2009

The Postie Bike Challenge started in 2002 as a one-off event in Brisbane, Australia to prove that small bikes can travel long distances over both asphalt, dirt, sand, or stony surfaces has turned into a 10-day charity event.  The entry fee is $4,000 but almost everything is taken care of, including: Late model Honda CT110 Postie bike (registered to you!) All breakfasts, lunches and dinners All fuel for the trip One way air ticket back to Brisbane Support truck to carry equipment, clothing bag and mechanics Final celebration dinner and hotel accommodation That’s right, you can keep the Honda CT110 Postie bike (designed for commercial and agricultural, also used by Australia Post) but the concept is to give the bike to charity in your name after the event is over, its up to you but more than 90% of the participants do give the bike back. Hit the jump to see the video and for more info on this years trek. The 2009 Postie Bike Challenge will take place from October 3rd to the 13th and will go from Brisbane to Melbourne, the destination changes every year.  The route taken will be about 2,000 miles (the direct route is about 1,000 miles).  If your interested, get your entry form and deposit in ASAP, last years event was sold out.

Glen Richards back with Embassy Racing

Wed, 27 Oct 2010

One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
