Honda CBR description

This 2012 Honda CBR 250R is an awesome motorcycle! It has plenty of power to make it fun to ride without making it scary to ride, especially for newer riders. It is lightweight as well, making it easy to handle. The black color is my favorite of the options offered on this model.

I purchased this bike shortly after moving to Texas last year. I used to live in the north and rode bikes, but I never owned one before because it seemed impractical up there. I have really enjoyed this bike, and the reason I am considering selling it is because I am going to be moving north again.

The bike was new about a year ago, and I am the only one who has used it. For a while, I used it to commute to work, but I got a different job which required me to wear a suit every day, which meant I couldn't ride as much any more. I have a large helmet, motorcycle jacket, and gloves that could possibly go with the bike.

Honda Announces 400cc Version of 500-Series Engine

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Honda has revealed a new, smaller-displacement variation of the 470cc parallel-twin engine introduced on its new CBR500, CB500F and CB500X models. The new engine has a bore of 67mm, just like Honda‘s 500-series engine, but a stroke of 56.6mm instead of the longer 66.8mm. The result is an engine displacement of 399cc, which makes the new engine a better fit for markets such as Japan license restrictions are much stricter for engines larger than 400cc.

Hero MotoCorp Launches 125cc Ignitor in India

Tue, 03 Jul 2012

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Ignitor, a 125cc premium model based on the CBF Stunner from former partner turned rival Honda. The Ignitor is one of the final models Hero will produce with technology licensed from Honda, and it is expected to bridge the gap before Hero introduces its own new models (with help from a gentleman named Erik Buell.) Like the Stunner, the Hero Ignitor is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine. Both models claim 11hp and 8 ft-lb., but the Ignitor reaches its peak torque at 5000 rpm while the Stunner has to spin up to 6500 rpm.
