2009 Honda Cbr 1000RR, 2008 Honda CBR 1000RR for sale. I am the original owner with a clear title. As you can see I have never ridden it much. I figured if I am not going to ride it, someone else should. You will notice some slight damage on the right side. It was more of a fall over than a lay down. Most of the parts were replaced, except right side fairing and handle bar end. I just replaced the battery this summer and is due for an oil change. Only serious buyers willing to put a deposit down will be allowed to ride. The miles say it all (765 miles), it is a brand new bike. It also has a double bubble wind screen and gel seat dealer installed, and I added a fender eliminator kit. This bike has always been stored inside and until last winter was in Arizona. Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season
Thu, 01 Sep 2011Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report
Mon, 30 Sep 2013Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
