Honda CBR description
2006 Honda CBR1000RR (CBR1000RR), - New for 2006, the radically re-styled CBR1000RR looks like a muscular predator. Underneath that formidable shell rests an upgraded higher revving 998 cc DOHC inline-four wrapped in an all-aluminum lighter chassis patterned after our championship-winning MotoGP RC211V. And with Unit Pro-Link rear suspension, center-up exhaust and dual-stage fuel injection — it's feeding time.

Report: Dorna to Replace Superstock Classes with More Stock-Inspired WSBK and New 250cc Class
Mon, 07 Jan 2013The coming World Superbike racing season may be the last to feature Superstock classes as series promoter Dorna tries to differentiate its WSBK and MotoGP properties. According to Italian outlet Motosprint, Dorna plans to rewrite the World Superbike and Supersport class rulebooks for the 2014 season to make the race bikes closer to their respective production models. This would create further separation between WSBK and MotoGP, with Superbike racing moving closer to its production-based roots while prototypes racing in the GP series.
Stoner explains the tank slapper
Mon, 03 Oct 2011Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.
