This is my 2005 Honda CBR 1000rr , that I have owned since 2007 .I am the second owner . I Purchased it with 1008 miles on it and it currently has 4979 miles . I only ride on Sunday's to avoid as many wacky drivers as possible . The bike has not been down at speed , however it has fallen over in the garage during oil changes . there are 2 cracks in the upper cowls where the directionals made contact with the ground . there are a few minor scratches on the decals on the lower cowls . overall the bike is in Excellent condition and is totally stock . NOTHING has been changed from the factory except the oil and filter . Has been garaged since owned . Includes owners manual and tool kit . 2014 Honda CTX700 Recalled in Canada for ABS Issue
Thu, 11 Jul 2013Transport Canada announced a recall for the new Honda CTX700 because of a manufacturing error in its anti-lock braking system. The Canadian recall applies to both the CTX700N and the partially-faired CTX700T (known simply as the Honda CTX700 in the U.S. market and other markets.) According to the recall notice, the ABS modulator may have been manufactured incorrectly and could potentially fail, allowing the front and/or rear wheels to lock up under heavy braking, increasing the risk of a crash.
