Rare low mileage Fireblade for auction. Everyone should experience the iconic CBR 954RR at least once in their lifetime. I have owned the bike for a year and it has been an awesome ride, but it is time to move on to something else. The bike is in good overall condition as you can tell from the photos and has had a recent fluid and spark-plug change. The bike has a Corbin saddle, D&D Slip-On exhaust, Puig racing screen and Michelen Pilot tires. She will need nothing until next season and is ready to go anywhere...fast. The bike is available for pick-up in Colorado Springs. Shipping arrangements will be the buyers responsibility but I will assist as much as possible if necessary. Payment of $500 deposit is expected within 24 hours of winning bid through Paypal and the balance in cash upon collection of the bike within 7 days. Frog eBike – the Electric Successor to 1985 Frog FZ750 Concept
Tue, 03 Apr 2012San Francisco-based Frog Design released images of a new electric motorcycle concept, just as its influential Yamaha FZ750-based Rana concept gets enshrined at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Frog designer Jin Soek Hwang prepared the Frog eBike concept as an expression of how electric motor technology can influence motorcycle design. In a post on Frog’s blog, the designer says he was inspired in part by Frog’s 1985 FZ750 Rana concept (pictured after the jump).

AMA Pro Flat Track Stars to Face Off in Ride Academy “Race of Legends”
Fri, 12 Apr 2013When the AMA Flat Track stars of today compete at the spring Springfield Mile, May 26 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, they will be joined by the stars of the past, taking part in the “Ride of Legends“. Hosted by the Illinois Motorcycle Dealers Association and Ride Academy, a riding school founded by multiple Grand National race winner Mike Hacker, the “Ride of Legends” exhibition race will feature several other past Grand National event winners racing each other on Honda dirt bikes. Joining Hacker will be Jay Springsteen, Joe Kopp, Rich King, Ronnie Jones, Steve Beattie, Steve Moorehead and Chris Carr.
