2013 Long Beach International Motorcycle Show Report

After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. Even although I had the dream ticket of riding for HRC in the 500cc World Championship I never stopped wanting to come back to the homeland and race my old mates. Brian Morrison started racing on the same day as myself and went on to have a successful carreer riding for Honda in the UK then later in the World Endurance Championship.
2013 Honda CRF Off-Road Lineup Announced
Tue, 29 May 2012Honda introduced its 2013 CRF off-road model lineup featuring a new CRF450R motocross bike and a new entry-level CRF110F trail bike. The 2013 Honda CRF450R was developed from Honda’s factory racebikes in the Japanese Motocross Championship, along with input from its European and AMA factory squads and racing legend Jeremy McGrath. The 2013 model features new Kayaba pneumatic front forks, just like Kawasaki’s competing KX450F.
