This is blast from the past--1982 CB900F Super Sport Honda. It is all original--paint, pipes, seat are all stock. It starts,runs and drives great. It has fresh oil and filter and spark plugs. It has it's share of scratches but nothing that effects the driving of the bike--it is 31 years old. No rips or tears in the seat the paint still shines--front tire very good, rear tire will need replaced soon. I am asking $1795 or best offer. This will be a 3 day auction. I ask for a Paypal deposit of $300 at auction end with the balance in cash upon pickup--within 3 days please--unless other arrangements are made. Title in hand. Day 2 Dakar 2014: Sunderland Wins First Special Stage

Honda won the second day of competition with Team HRC’s Sam Sunderland claiming victory in the first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Sunderland has had a frustrating time at previous Dakars, dropping out after three days of racing in 2012 and withdrawing a month before last year’s event due to fracturing both his wrists. Today, however, Sunderland made a grand entrance into the club of elite riders by brilliantly winning his first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Having started well behind his teammate, Joan Barreda, the 23-year old Brit superbly overtook Michael Metge and Juan Pedrero on the first part of the route.

JCR Honda Wins 2012 Baja 1000

The Johnny Campbell Racing Honda team handily won the 2012 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 rally, setting the fastest time in any motorcycle class by more than an hour. The win marked the 16th consecutive victory and 23rd overall for Honda. JCR‘s Colton Udall, Timmy Weigand and David Kamo completed 1121-mile course on a Honda CRF450X with a time of 20:09:30 for an average speed of 55.64 mph.

Honda World Superbike livery unveiled

The Honda World Superbike team has unveiled the 2012 livery Jonathan Rea and Hiroshi Aoyama will campaign for the 2012 season. Using the official test as the first opportunity to debut the new livery, the design takes styling cues from one of the colour schemes of the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade.
