Honda CB tech info
Honda CB description
Classic bike in great condition! 13,227 original miles. Runs like
a top and is a lot of fun to ride. Chrome and paint are in good
condition for a 30+ year old bike. Paint has some scratches and chips
from normal wear-and-tear. The gas tank has two small dents where it
meets the seat (see photo). Seat is in nice shape. This motorcycle has
been garaged its entire life and it shows. All electric is in good
working order. Tires still have plenty of wear left on them. Kick start.
I just got it back from a Japanese bike specialist who completely went through it and did the following:
- Completely cleaned and rebuilt the carbs
- Installed a new battery
- Replaced air and fuel filters
- Adjusted valves and installed new spark plug and plug cap
- Changed oil, checked fuel system, and adjusted all cables
Sold as is. Local pickup or buyer must arrange shipping.

Thu, 09 Sep 2010This remarkable shot of Eddie Lawson is taken by Rich Chenet. It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.
