Honda CB description

This is a Classic 1981 CB750F tastefully done in a period correct cafe style. The frame is painted Honda Red and the paint scheme is red, white, and blue mimicing the very limited 1979 Phil Read special. Phil Read raced for Team Honda Britton one year in 1979 and Honda issued a model to commemorate this. While this bike is NOT a Phil Read Special, it was built similar in style.

Gold aftermarket rims, European CB rear sets that are placed farther back, an ATK fork brace, bar-end mirrors, and a Gustafsson cafe fairing complete the look. The bike has 26823 miles on the all stock motor with the only upgrade being the 4-into-1 exhaust.

This bike is a head turner as everybody remembers the classic CB styling from the 80's. This bike just one a first place trophy in the Sport Bike class of a local motorcycle show. There are some paint chips on the frame and this is not a showroom type restoration. This bike was made to be ridden and shown off! I ride it to town whenever the mood strikes, so it is road worthy/ready. It is currently registered, titled, and insured in SW Colorado.

A $250 deposit through Paypal required within 48 hours of the winning bid with the remainder wired or handed in person before the bike is released. I will not ship this bike, pick-up is the buyer's responsibility.

Asimo: Lazy bastard

Wed, 22 Aug 2012

Honda's ASIMO, Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility robot is a pretty cool thing. Until I'd seen it in the flesh (plastic?) I thought it was just a willy-waving exercise from Honda, but when I saw it running and walking up and down stairs, I was massively impressed. So, perhaps, one day, we'll have the ability to buy a relative of ASIMO to help us around the house, I thought to myself.

Since it’s inception Motorcycle.com Specs has been the best place for bikers and enthusiasts (like you) to voice their opinions; there has been a lot to spout-off about too! Over 528 Motorcycle models have been updated for you to review in 2009 alone. It’s great to see what the Motorcycle Community has to say about the bikes they ride.

Traction control? Yawn...

My long-term Fireblade went back to Honda last week and, seeing as it’s sunny and mild outside now, I’m already missing it. It is one of the best 1000cc sports bikes out there, I don’t care what anyone else says, the way it makes its power is just perfect for fast road use. With the Power Commander 5 fitted and the fuelling sorted my 2011 Blade performed as well if not better than the 2012 version.
