Honda CB description

Very nice 1976 Honda CB750F1 Super Sport. I have had this bike for about a year. When I bought it (from the second owner) he was going to bob it and turn it into some kind of altered sport bike. needless to say I saved it from that butcher shop of horrors and restored it to its original glory. The paint and decals are all original. I wet sanded the tank and the cowl and re clear coated to bring the shine back. It also stops any more sun fading because of the ultra violet blocking in the paint. I also had to recover the seat because the original was badly ripped. The seat cover is an exact pattern of the old cover and looks very nice. I replaced the chain and sprockets with a 18 tooth front and a 40 tooth rear. this gearing will let you cruise at 70 MPH at about 3.5K-4K RPM's. I like better than the stock set up, the engine doesn't work as hard and it gets better fuel mileage. Everything is original just some cleaning up and a little black paint. I did install a new battery, plugs, points and condensers and new carburetor kits. This is a very nice riding bike compression is good and has lots of power. I am 6-4 and 250lbs and it moves me aroung just fine. The main reason for selling is it is a little to small for me. I like the 1000,s and the 1100cc bikes. The bike will have to be picked up here in west Michigan. You will have to arrange your own shipping. A 200 dollar PayPal deposit will be expected within 24 hours of purchase unless other arrangements are made. All I ask is for good communication. I hate when at the end of a deal I never hear from the buyer, so please communicate. The wheels both front and back are in very nice shape. No rust or dings and all spokes are present and tight. The tires apper to be the original tires. They have some minor cracks in them . I have been riding on them and they are fine. I do not go over 70 MPH.

Stoner Tops Day One of Sepang Test – Video

Tue, 28 Feb 2012

It’s been about a month since Casey Stoner last tested the Honda RC213V racebike at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit but the defending World Champion remains the man to beat, setting the fastest lap at the first day of MotoGP’s February Sepang test. Heavy rain limited teams’ testing and Stoner only completed 16 laps but still managed to set a time of 2:01.761. Stoner was the only rider to lap under 2:02, though his Repsol Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa came close with a time of 2:02.005 while completing 36 laps.

Voluntary Recall for Continental ContiMotion Sport-Touring Tires

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Continental Tire announced a voluntary recall campaign for certain ContiMotion sport-touring tires. According to Continental, market feedback has shown some tires may experience uneven wear from the 180/60R16 74H ContiMotion rear tires. Tires may develop groove cracking and, in some cases, belt lift, conditions which can lead to a loss of tire inflation pressure and a potential for loss of control.

American Honda Played A Big Role In Bringing Nicky Hayden Back To Team Red

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

In late 2013, American Honda was presented with an opportunity to bring Nicky Hayden back to the Honda family, and renew the relationship that started in 1999 when Hayden was just 17. By retaining Hayden’s services to ride the Honda RCV1000R in the MotoGP World Championship series for the DRIVE M7 Aspar Team in the 2014 and 2015 seasons, American Honda is also now a proud sponsor of the DRIVE M7 Aspar Team. His first MotoGP season (2003) saw Hayden finish fifth in the championship on the Repsol Honda RC211V and win Rookie of the Year honors.
