Honda CB description

This listing is for a 1976 Honda CB750A Hondamatic.

Fantastic looking bike that turns heads everywhere it goes! Great paint and powder coating combined with modern components make this bike a blast. I will list everything I can about the bike, both good and bad. If you have any questions feel free to ask! This bike does not have a warranty, it comes as is. I would highly recommend you come out to see the bike to inspect it and talk about the price. If the bike needs to be shipped, the buyer must arrange the shipping at their own expense. The bike must be paid in full before leaving the premises.

NOTE: the pictures with the gauges look like the digital gauges are malfunctioning. They both work fine, it was the shutter speed on the camera making them appear strange

The good:

2010 CBR1000RR Front suspension, wheel, brakes, and hand controls
2006 CBR600F4I Rear wheel, brake caliper and rotor, and master cylinder
Custom paint job (color codes will be provided)
Swingarm stretched 4 inches
Powder coated frame
Powder coated Wheels
Blackbird integrated Taillight
Hand-made steel seat pan
Custom made seat cover
Tarozzi foot controls
520 chain conversion
Shinko tires, installed 2016
Progressive rear shocks
Mikuni RS34 flat slide carbs
Honda intake boots, new 2015
Vance and Hines 4-into-1 exhaust w/ wrapped header
Rick's motorsports regulator/rectifier, installed 2016
dynatec 2000 digital ignition
GPS digital speedometer
Joker machine valve tappet covers, tachometer plug, starter and points covers
Duracell battery, new 2016
Accel coils and 8.8mm spark plug wires
Motogadget bar-end LED turn signals
Digital Fuel gauge
spin-on oil filter conversion
Tri-bar headlight

The bad:

The Mikuni carbs are a little too big for the bike. The bike was professionally dyno tuned, but you can't just stab the throttle or it will bog down. If you roll in to the throttle, it runs great.

The GPS speedometer lags a bit when taking off from a stop. It catches up after a few seconds. not a big deal, but I prefer to list any quirks

MotoGP Teams Complete First Sepang Pre-Season Test

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

Preparations for the 2014 MotoGP Championship are well underway, with the first pre-season test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit complete. As the first test of the year, we shouldn’t take too much stock into the results, but they do provide a basis for later comparison. Reigning World Champion Marc Marquez was the fastest rider on all three days of the Sepang test.

Honda presented its 2014 World Superbike and Supersport team, including the new CBR1000RR SP racebike in a presentation at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy. Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam are returning in the Pata Honda team colors to ride the CBR1000RR SP in the WSBK class while Michael van der Mark and Lorenzo Zanetti will ride the CBR600RR in the WSS championship. Last season was disappointing for Honda, with both Rea and Haslam missing significant time due to leg injuries.
