This is a ONE OWNER bike, from new, although re-titled once, from father to son. My father and I have shared this bike for the past 40 years but, as shown by the odometer, neither of us actually rode it very often.
Just this past Fall it had carbs rebuilt, new battery, oil change, replaced plugs, air filters, fuel lines, and drained and flushed the tank. It's ready to ride and be enjoyed! Original Owner's Manual and a Clymer Service Guide are included!! Padded Sissy Bar also included, if desired. Previous auction "winner" (with only 1 feedback) was a deadbeat that never came forward. Bradl Staying with LCR Honda for 2014 MotoGP Season
Thu, 15 Aug 2013The LCR Honda announced Stefan Bradl has signed a one-year contract extension with Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) that will see the German rider return with the team for the 2014 MotoGP season. Bradl won the 2012 MotoGP Rookie of the Year award with the LCR Honda squad and currently sits sixth in the 2013 championship standings after earning his first career MotoGP-class podium with a second-place result at Laguna Seca. The 2011 Moto2 champion will continue to receive factory support from HRC while racing for Lucio Cecchinello’s LCR squad.
FIM Updates Superbike Racing Homologation Lists for 2013
Tue, 19 Feb 2013The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released an updated list of motorcycles homologated for the 2013 Superbike, Supersport, and Superstock racing season. Notable additions include the new BMW S1000RR HP4, the MV Agusta F3 and the Superbike-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale R. To qualify a production-based racebike for FIM homologations, manufacturers have to meet certain production thresholds.
Honda MotoGP Testing Idled By Engine Failure Investigation
Wed, 29 Feb 2012A red warning light prevented Honda riders from taking part in the second day of MotoGP testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. While its competitors were hitting the track, Honda was forced to wait for analysis on the engine of Dani Pedrosa‘s RC213V. A red warning light on the RC213V’s dash came on late in the first day of testing, indicating a potential failure.
