***1970 Honda CB450 Barn-find, One -Owner, Original title!*** Folks, for auction is this very cool old Honda with lots of patina. The original paint is very nice, the bike runs incredible and has PERFECT throttle response, it's tuned and ready to ride except for the front brake. There are no dents or dings in the tank, inside the tank is rust free and beautiful and shiny. I have a new master cylinder ordered which will come with the bike still in the box. Tires are in excellent condition. Front fender and left exhaust chrome is scaling but there are no holes in the exhaust. All electronics work except for the horn including all turn signals and the starter. I set a low reserve on the bike so bid woth confidence and know that this baby could be in your garage or you can be riding it within a week or so. It's a bad ass old bike that still looks awesome! Feel free to email with any questions and you are also welcome to come and see the bike by appointment here in Mercer, Pa. All shipping cost are the responsibility of the buyer! I accept paypal for payment! If you pay via money order or bank check, you must wait at least eleven days for the check or money order to clear. I will release the bike once this occurs. If you pay using a U.S. POSTAL SERVICE MONEY ORDER, I will release the bike as soon as I cash the money order. EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda VFR800F
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Gracing the new 2014 VFR800F is traction control, ABS, heated grips, adjustable seat height and self-canceling blinkers. The V-Four-powered machine has been re-tuned for greater low and mid-range torque, and also receives a new telescopic fork, Pro-arm swingarm, wheels, new, slimmer bodywork and styling. Starting with the 782cc V4-VTEC engine, Honda engineers focused mainly on cam timing and valve duration/overlap to increase low-to midrange power and torque, claiming 104.5 hp @ 10,250 rpm and 55.4 ft-lbs of torque @ 8,500 rpm. Bore and stroke is 72mm x 48mm, with compression ratio of 11.8:1. VTEC valve timing still operates one pair of inlet/exhaust valves per cylinder at low rpm, and then switches to four as revs rise. Honda’s single-mode Traction Control System (TCS) is fitted as standard equipment and is operated from the left handlebar.
EICMA 2011 Preview: 2012 Honda Integra Specs Released
Tue, 25 Oct 2011Honda has released specifications and new photographs of its new 670cc Integra motorcycle/scooter crossover which will make its public debut at the 2011 EICMA show in Milan. While the hybrid model may not be for everyone, the engine details are important as Honda has announced it will also debut two additional models at EICMA using the same power plant. The 2012 Honda Integra, named according to Honda for integrating “the ease of use of a scooter with the dynamic performance of a motorcycle”, uses an all new 670cc parallel Twin engine with a second generation version of Honda’s dual clutch transmission.
Gresini Unveils 2012 MotoGP and Moto3 Honda Race Bikes
Tue, 13 Mar 2012Last season, Alvaro Bautista rode on one of the best looking motorcycles on the MotoGP grid, the Suzuki GSV-R in Rizla powder blue livery by Troy Lee Designs. This season, Bautista is riding the Gresini Honda RC213V, but instead of its previous white paint job, the Gresini machine is in a sleek black. No reason for the color change was announced, though it’s possible the choice is a sign of mourning for the late Marco Simoncelli whose place Bautista is assuming with Gresini.
