Please consider bidding on this great 1982 HONDA PASSPORT C70 WITH 291 MILES COMES WITH CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN, AND ALL ORIGINAL PAPERWORK THAT CAME WITH THE HONDA SCOOTER WHEN IT WAS PURCHASED NEW BY THE FIRST OWNER; INCLUDING THE DEALER RECEIPT! I PURCHASED THE HONDA MOTORCYCLE IN 1992 DROVE IT AROUND FOR A WHILE AND PUT IT UP, IT HAS BEEN COLLECTING DUST AND DIRT EVER SINCE; ITS’ IN THE WAY AND HAS TO GO. THE BIKE HASN’T BEEN RUN FOR A LONG TIME BUT BEFORE I PUT IT UP I OILED UP THE CYLINDER AND KICKED IT THROUGH SEVERAL TIMES TO DISPERSE THE OIL IN THE CYLINDER AND AROUND THE PISTON AND RINGS; HAS GOOD COMPRESSION NOW. ALL OF THE SYSTEMS ON THE BIKE FUNCTIONED PROPERLY WHEN I PUT IT IN STORAGE INCLUDING THE ELECTRIC STARTER, CHARGING SYSTEM, ETC; IT RAN GREAT. GAS TANK IS ABOUT HALF FULL THERE IS A RING AROUND THE INSIDE OF THE TANK THAT IS DISCOLORED. THIS RING IS ABOUT 1 INCH WIDE IT COULD BE VERY LIGHT SURFACE RUST OR VARNISH LEFT BY EVAPORATING FUEL; OTHERWISE, NO RUST INSIDE THE TANK. THE ORIGINAL TIRES HAVE DRY-ROTTED IT NEEDS TIRES, TUBES, BATTERY AND SPARK PLUG CAP AS WELL. THE CHROME, PAINT AND PLASTIC SHOULD CLEAN UP FROM GOOD TO VERY GOOD. THE RIGHT RED PLASTIC BATTERY COVER SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF WARPING, IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO A HEAT SOURCE, BEFORE I GOT THE BIKE, BUT FITS AS IT SHOULD. ALSO, ON THE RIGHT SIDE JUST BELOW THE SEAT THERE IS A DENT IN THE GAS TANK AND THERE IS A SMALL HOLE IN THE TOP OF THE SEAT. THE RIGHT SIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR IS BROKEN AND MISSING. LASTLY, THERE ARE SOME ABRASIONS ON THE BOTTOM LIP OF THE FRONT FENDER. PHOTOS DO A GOOD JOB OF SHOWING CONDITION. NO WARRANTY or GUARANTEE IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED; A RETURNS OPTION IS NOT OFFERED. THIS MOTORCYCLE IS BEING SOLD AS IS. WE BELIEVE OUR DESCRIPTIONS ALONG WITH THE IMAGES; PROVIDE OUR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS WITH AN ACCURATE REPRESENTATION OF THE ITEM OFFERED FOR SALE. PLEASE FEEL TO CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 7 DAYS BEFORE PICK UP AND OF AUCTION END; CHECK MUST CLEAR MY BANK BEFORE PICK UP. I have three keys for the bike, 2 with black plastic on the key ring end impressed with "HONDA"; I believe these are original. And another key that is obviously after market. |
