Harley-Davidson VRSC description

Purchased just last month now with only 600 adult owned break in miles.  Originally purchased by a family member I am helping with the sale because of hardship.  If you are looking to BUY we are looking to SELL for a reasonable offer.  Check the NADA book and you can see that the bike can be bought well below market value, this should help you secure a loan if needed.  All of the H-D paper work and certificates that comes with this bike is available. As I understand it the HD factory warranty is transferable for $25.00, also the new tag has been purchased but not pictured.

This is a Harley Davidson dealer made custom version of the standard Night Rod and is also part of Harley-Davidson's "Dark Custom" series. In addition to a 240 mm wide rear tire, forward controls, most of the chrome components of the VRSCDX were replaced with black.  The wheels were replaced by black slotted disk wheels, with pin striping. Vance and Hinds exhaust, this motorcycle muffler system proves that a performance exhaust can still be a beautiful set of pipes.  Before it left the showroom floor the dealer also increased the horsepower with a factory Stage One Kit, the kit allows more air/fuel to move through the engine adding about 5 hp to the already 123 hp factory rating.  After the sale was final the H-D employee told me "this may be the last year for the V-Rod" or maybe he meant the VRSCDX, not sure which one he was referring too.

In an effort to screen the non-serious buyers there is a $250.00 non-refundable down payment due within 24 hours after the sale, balance due in full within three business days using a certified payment verified by my bank.  I am willing to work with the buyer to ensure that the buyer is satisfied the bike is as advertised.  It is advertised locally so I reserve the right to end the sale early if a acceptable price is offered.  The pick up and or delivery expense is the responsibility of the buyer.  I can meet with the shipper most anytime.  Questions welcomed 918-832-8060.

Harley-Davidson Recalls Over 100,000 Touring Models, 1400 Street Models

Wed, 01 Oct 2014

Harley-Davidson has recalled more than 105,000 Touring models from the 2014 model year, and approximately 1400 Street models from the 2015 model year. The Touring models have been recalled due to a possible failure of a component in the clutch master cylinder. This possible failure could cause a reduction in pressure available to keep the clutch disengaged, according to the NHTSA.
