Harley-Davidson VRSC description

07 VROD in Excellent Condition. Looks excellent and Runs better then new.
This super clean bike has less then 3500 miles on it. It needs nothing. Everything works. Rubber is Excellent. It's ready to ride for the summer.
This bike has been garage kept and hooked to a battery tender it's whole life. This Bike has the Harley Factory Alarm system.
Bike has been babied and Old Guy owned. The ONLY reason im selling it is that
i also have an 08' VROD and Ones got to go.
Full Disclosure. I'm more Nit-Picky then most. There are two Blems on this bike.
Both are almost always found on these year/models. One; it has some chips on the clear Coat of the fork legs which can be observed. If i have time. I will take a jitterBug, fine Scotch Bright and some metal polish and polish those out.
And Two; Some vapor seepage around the lids of both handlebar mastercylinders caused some slight bubbling on the rear/down side of each. I sanded each and coated with an chemical resistant coating, but, it is flat, not semi gloss.
Thats it!
This year i put in a new Battery, K&N Air Filter, DM Drag Pipe, and Screaming Eagle Pro Tuner. I also did the Topless Airbox mod, then took it to the local
dealer to be Serviced and Dyno tuned to optimize the mods.
I have the CLEAR Pink Slip sitting here.

Harley-Davidson Helps Beat Winter Blues

Mon, 02 Feb 2009

Feeling trapped within the crippling grasp of winter? The Harley-Davidson Museum is helping to warm things up with Winter Chillabration, running now until the end of February. One of the many highlights is the giant XR1200 Harley-Davidson Sportster that has been hand-carved from ice and snow by the USA Snow Sculpting Team, on the corner of 5th and Canal Streets.

AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Riders Gearing Up For Road America

Thu, 29 May 2014

The AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class makes its much-anticipated return to Road America this weekend. The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.
