Perfect in its original brushed metal look, it gets nine glittering new shades to choose from for 2005. The one-of-a-kind, hydro-formed frame recently got a boost in eye appeal with a new silver-leaf coating. The aggressive look keeps rolling with a 49mm 38° raked fork, a 180mm rear tire, solid disc wheels and a sweeping exhaust system that’s out of this world. At the center is the liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 60° V-Twin Revolution powertrain with 115 horsepower and enough torque to counterpunch the earth’s rotation. It all leads to the jaw-dropping combination of power and beauty you see here. V-Rod also gets a new stiffer rear axle, for when a wandering road wants to show you a good time. 2010 Harley-Davidson Edition F-150 Revealed
Wed, 11 Feb 2009Unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show this week, the 2010 Harley-Davidson Ford F-150 is officially the first Harley-Davidson edition truck to be constructed from the award-winning 2009 F-150 chassis. This niche market co-branding exercise marks the 14th Harley-Davidson edition of an F-Series truck dating back to 2000. The collaboration between these two companies has produced eight F-150 models, as well as six Super Duty F-250, F-350, and in 2009, the first Harley-Davidson F-450 edition truck.
Rare Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and Memorabilia Up for Auction
Tue, 24 Jun 2014More than 500 rare Harley-Davidson motorcycles and collector’s items will be hitting the auction block on June 28. The items belong to Ron Shreffler, former owner of a Harley-Davidson dealership in Manteno, Ill. The retired Shreffler once had plans to open a Harley-Davidson museum but has now decided to auction off his collection gathered from 48 years in the industry.
Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit
Tue, 06 Mar 2012The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.
