2004 Harley-Davidson VRSCB V-Rod, VRSCB V-Rod - Better keep your good eye on this rabble-rouser. It’s the brand new VRSCB V-Rod motorcycle. One look is about all it takes to tell you this machine inherits the VRSC knack for causing a commotion. But this black sheep gets the stripped-down treatment for even more raw, in-your-face VR attitude. It starts with the same hot rod genetics. 115 hp Revolution engine. Aluminum bodywork. Hydro-formed perimeter frame. Raked fork. But from there, it sheds the shine. With a black frame that surrounds the silver and black powertrain. Of course, the dark theme goes further, with black calipers and brake lines, black hand controls and rear shock springs. The VRSCB model gets finished with a minimalist instrument cluster on an adjustable handlebar. It’s pure VRSC muscle, only more ornery than ever. Harley Recalls 25,000 2014 Touring Models
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson is acting quickly to address potential safety issues by voluntarily recalling certain 2014 Touring motorcycles equipped with a hydraulic clutch system that may pose a safety issue for riders and/or passengers. The recalls include a Do Not Ride notice to owners and a Do Not Deliver notice to Harley-Davidson dealers until the motorcycle is fixed. “The safety of our customers is our highest priority,” said Tony Wilcox, Harley-Davidson General Manager of Motorcycle New Product Delivery.
Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
