This bike is extra clean, very well maintained, always garaged, and in Immaculate condition. It has been pre-owned gently its entire life. Loaded with chrome and custom everything. All cables including throttle, brake, and clutch have recently been updated. Tires are in better than terrific condition-Dunlop HD D402F. S&S Super carb. Vance&Hines exhaust. Very high-quality Heritage leather saddle bags. Recent oil change-AMSOIL(change at 9,000 mis). This bike is a pleasure to ride and is VERY stout. No scratches, no rust, and no dents other than a small scuff on the front fender. This bike runs excellently, no smoke, and smooth as silk! I am the third owner of this bike, second owner only had it for a year and i bought it from him in Flat Rock, Michigan. I will accept either cash or a cashiers check only. You may either pick it up yourself, or we could possibly arrange for me to bring it to you. This bike is the love of my life and the only thing that could cause me to sell it would be my health. Hate to sell, but must sell.

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.

Music and Motorcycles Exhibit

The four-day “Music and Motorcycles” exhibit, presented by the Long Island Music Hall of Fame (LIMHOF), will be on public display at the Lighthouse Harley-Davidson dealership in Huntington Station, NY. The exhibit will feature memorabilia and motorcycles from many inductees from the LIMHOF including, Joan Jett, Billy Joel, Dee Snider, The Ramones, Darryl McDaniel of Run DMC and more. Billy Joel will be supplying several custom bikes, Twisted Sister have agreed to loan one of their motorcycles and a gas tank signed by Jett, Snider, Peter Tork of The Monkees, Gary U.S.

Zero Motorcycles Named to Made in USA Foundation Hall of Fame

The Made in the USA Foundation has named Zero Motorcycles to its 2012 Hall of Fame class, recognizing the electric motorcycle manufacturer’s commitment to American manufacturing. Zero Motorcycles, founded in 2006 in Santa Cruz, Calif., by former NASA engineer Neal Saiki, becomes the second motorcycle manufacturer named to the Foundation’s Hall of Fame. Harley-Davidson was inducted in 2011.
