Harley-Davidson Touring description

You are looking at a basically brand new Harley-Davidson Streetglide Standard motorcycle with 174 miles on it. Miles may go up with all the nice weather we are having. lol. I purchased this bike brand new from Timm's HD in Anderson S.C. last month. As far as I know, the only options it doesn't have is adjustable rear suspension and Navigation screen with the fancy speakers. I bought a standard, because I didn't care about these options, and you can't get the pearl white color and have those as well. Love this color and had to have it. I have to say this is the nicest, most comfortable, and smoothest motorcycle I have ever riden in my 25 years on a bike. The 103ci engine has unreal power on these models, but I had to have just a little more, so I called Vance & Hines the day I brought it home. They sent me an adjustable power programmer, a badass breather assembly, and the best part of it all, the big 2 into 1 Pro-Pipe exhaust header. I also had the rear lowered for comfort and a small antenna for looks. Parts and Labor, $1500.
This thing will fly to be a big bagger! Unfortunately, all that wasn't enough to make me get over my love for the feel and rumble of the old hard tails and shovel heads . This is the reason I am letting it go so soon after purchasing it, it's just too nice. I really miss the old shake, rattle, and roll of my old stuff. I thought I was ready for comfort and style, but really I'm still stuck on loving the low, rough riding, ole sleds I have always riden. So, this will be a great deal for someone wanting a new bike, at a used bike price. I would entertain ending the auction early for the right price, but please, no silly offers. My loss is gonna be your gain, but I don't have to sell it and won't give it away. I should have rode a few before I bought this one, but it was so gorgeous sitting there in that showroom.
Check my feedback, I desribe my vehicles very objectively and honest. Just ask and I will answer promptly. Although, what can you say about a bike with less than 200 miles on it, besides that it is brand new? lol. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of the auction's end. All bidders with a feedback score of 10 or less, or a negative score, please contact me before entering a bid or it will be canceled. Sorry, but have had a real problem with this lately. Anyway, don't hesitate to contact me with any questions, or additional pictures you may want of this baby. Any inspections are welcomed, I'm available pretty much anytime to come look at it. Take care and good luck.

Wow, is it that time already? Time to drink eggnog and be merry until I get my credit card bill and then I’ll be drinking eggnog and trying to forget how broke I am. As we all know the most difficult part of the holiday season is the stress of shopping for gifts.

Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit

Wed, 24 Oct 2012

From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.
