2015 HARLEY DAVIDSON ELECTRA GLIDE ULTRA CLASSIC LIMITED LOW FLHTKL

Beautiful mint bike. Vivid Black. Local One owner with only 1,230 miles. Includes adjustable highway pegs, tri-pouch windshield compartments, tourpak lid organizer. & factory security. The 2015 Electra Glide® Ultra Classic® Low offers the lowest seat height available in a premium touring bike and a package of features designed to address comfort and fit issues fit for riders under 5 feet 7 inches tall. Those features include: A seat height of 25.6 inches allows more riders to place both feet flat on the ground when the motorcycle is stopped, and a new low-profile seat reduces the reach to the foot controls. Premium lowered front and rear suspension lowers the bike’s center of gravity and makes it easier to lift the motorcycle off its jiffy stand, yet delivers outstanding comfort and handling. The overall width of the primary drive housing and derby cover are reduced to further improve leg clearance to the ground. A pull-back handlebar places hand controls two inches closer to the rider, putting many riders in a more comfortable position that can reduce back and shoulder strain. Smaller-diameter hand grips reduce the finger reach to the brake and clutch levers. Assist and Slip (A&S) hydraulic clutch reduces lever effort 23 percent, a key benefit in stop- and-go traffic. A new passenger footboard mount allows the footboards to be folded up so they are out of the way when pushing the motorcycle in a garage or driveway. Harley-Davidson Recalls 250,000 Motorcycles for Rear Brake Light Switches

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall for 250,757 units from its Touring, CVO Touring and Trike line from model years 2009 – 2012. The rear brake light switch on the models in question may become degraded due to the heat from the exhaust systems. This may affect brake light function and may result in a brake fluid leak.

10-seater Harley. Just what you need.

Tue, 04 Aug 2009

Ever gone to take your Harley for a spin and thought "You know, I wish this thing had a couple more seats, infact no, I wish it had 10". Well, you might not have done that, I know I haven't, but one man who did was Steve Hopkins who built this bike using 7 Harley-Davidson engines some which date back over 100 years. To prove it rides, Hopkins and nine passengers hopped on the bike on Saturday to start the 900 mile ride from Wisconsin to Sturgis.

Harley Art

Mon, 16 Jan 2012

A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...
