Well.... Sad to say but I am selling my 2014 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special. I bought it brand new and was one of the first ones in my area to have the new style. I have over $15,000 in accessories on top of the cost of the bike (Didn't add in all the labor which is probably a few thousand dollars.) The past year I haven't gotten to ride it enough and have other priorities that have to come first. The navigation system is great for the trips though! Fri, 24 Oct 2008I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26. First and foremost I’m very grateful for Oliver to set aside over half an hour of his precious time so close to the event. Not only does he head-up this massive event, he’s also busy running the very busy and successful Harley-Davidson/Buell of Glendale (California).

Mon, 15 Feb 2010IF YOU'VE a young daughter and you want to keep her away from motorcycles when she's older (or more likely the men that ride them) then look away now.Yes folks, Barbie and Ken are getting serious makeover to keep them up-to-date for 2010 - the new Harley-Davidson endorsed couple now come complete with biker gear, tattoos and even piercings (a Prince Albert, perhaps?). It makes you wonder what Mattel, the company behind the plastic duo, has next in the pipeline. Maybe they'll have a model of Birmingham airport, where Ken can kick the sh*t out of rival bike gang members?

Fri, 04 Oct 2013On January 9, 2014, during the fourth annual Las Vegas Sale of motorcycles at Bally’s Hotel and Casino, Bonhams, the world’s largest auction house for cars, motorcycles and memorabilia, will be auctioning off over 50 motorcycles from the extensive Wayne Pierce family museum collection, all offered at no reserve. Among the machines is a first-year Harley-Davidson Sportster believed to be the 10th XL883 produced in 1957, a 1933 Harley VLE police bike that saw actual duty on the streets of Chicago before being cast in the 1987 Kevin Costner gangster movie, “The Untouchables,” and an authentic and unrestored 1947 Harley Knucklehead wearing period aftermarket accessories. Wayne “Pappy” Pierce started his Harley-Davidson dealership in 1957, run out of a one-room tin shed in DeKalb, Illinois.
