Harley-Davidson Touring description

Custom built Electra glide with touch screen radio and navigation. Front end raked 6 degrees with Pickard triple trees, performance machine lower forks with progressive suspension lowered 1", SMT machining 23" wheel with matching single side 13" rotor and HHI 6 piston caliper. Factory match wrap around steel fender. Clutch and brake lines upgraded to black steel braided. Roaring toyz 12" ape hangers with aftermarket cushioned grips. Kenwood amp and two 6.5" Hertz high energy speakers. Hand controls are all still functional with radio setup. Engine covers powder coated black. Larger cam installed with true dual rush headers and CFR pipes, professionally tuned and dyno. Rear wheel powder coated and platinum adjustable rear air ride suspension with compressor installed. Rear fender swapped with CVO fender and integrated tail lights.
Also includes stock tour pack and padded sissy bar.

CARB Reveals 2014 Harley-Davidson Models, Including Some “Cool” Surprises

The California Air Resource Board has issued executive orders on a number of 2014 Harley-Davidson models, revealing much of the Motor Company’s upcoming product lineup. While most of the models listed are familiar, the documents do reveal some gems including possible signs of the long-rumored new liquid-cooled Harley-Davidson engine. The first and least surprising reveal is the disappearance of the 1584cc Twin Cam 96 engine.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Preliminary 2013 Road Racing Schedule

AMA Pro Racing released a preliminary calendar for its 2013 Road Racing season. The tentative schedule contains nine confirmed rounds with another two to be confirmed. Next season will again see four classes of racing: AMA Pro National Guard Superbike, AMA Pro GoPro Daytona Sportbike, AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport, and the AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series which returns under its new name.

Want to Buy the Pope’s Harley?

In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.
