Harley-Davidson Touring description

You are bidding on a very nice 2011 FLHX Street Glide w/ABS custom bagger with only 6500 miles. I'm not hurting for money and do not need to sell, but I do not ride it enough to keep it, as you can see from the mileage. Bike is also for sale locally as well and I have the right to cancel the auction at any time if it sells. If you have any question you may call or text me 734-231-9516. Thank you for looking. Details below:

Motor: Stock 103 with Frank Drago's blower cams and a Procharger (superchager), it has a Thundermax ecm with auto tune. Has reusable 2 pc aluminum oil filter. The set up was also tuned by Frank himself, which he is one of the top tuners of Procharged motors in the country. Made 135 hp and 127 tq.

Transmission: Stock 6 speed with AIM variable pressure plate.

Eaxhaust: Vances hines true duals with extended CFR muffles - sounds great

Arnott - 12" chrome air ride set up in rear only. Front forks lowered by springs.

The bike has a ton of after market parts as you can see from the pics. Here is a list:

Paint: the bike has been completely repainted by original owner, it is factory black matte with blue metalic flake in it. I rode the bike and not put it in the trailer, so it has a few flaws. but over all a solid 7.5 or 8 out of 10. It has one scratch in rear fender near license plate about 1" long which is the worst spot. Also has blue crush velvet bag and lid liners.

Front End: HHI triple trees and neck rake kit - install professionally on a jig. Bike rides straight as an arrow and I have had this bike up to 130 mph with no issues. Front forks are American suspension N-41 with single side disc brake with hidden axle. Front brake caliper is 6 piston HHI.

Wheels - Performance Machine Riviera 26" front with matching rotor and 18" matching rear, Tires are in good shape. Rear rim needs to be re-chromed ($600) - but can not be seen due to bags and side covers.

Paul Yaffe: Steel gas tank with consel with Yaffe 12 monkey bars, lowered kick stand.
Arlen Ness: Down and out bags, and rear fender stretched side covers.
Camtech: chin spoiler, front flush mount led turn signals
Sinister: front wrap around fender
Le Pera: Villain seat with extra gel and padding ($900)
Performance Machine: Floor boards front and rear, shifter peg and brake pedal and shifter linkage.
Dakota Digital : Blue digital gauges - boost / oil / volt / fuel / tach /speedo.
Harley Parts: Misc engine covers, hand grips and levers, chrome switch housings,

Lighting: HID headlight and extended headlight bezel, flush mount led turn signals and running lights on forks, Rear has led brake light strips between bags and also stop light led in license plate.

Stereo: Loud 8 speaker stereo system: Sony head unit with Ipod hook up behind face plate, All JL audio ZR series speakers 6.5 with tweeters up front and 7 3/4" woofers with tweeters in each rear bag. powered by a JL audio 400/4 amp under the fairing. Everything is control through handle bar controls.

This is a solid bike that rides smooth and straight. It turns a lot of heads and being supercharged, it really draws a crowd anywhere it is parked. Everything works on the bike including cruise and abs.

Again thanks for looking

Off-Road Motorcycle and Free-Ride Bicycle Compared

Thu, 11 Dec 2008

What if anything do bicycles and motorcycles have in common? Besides the whole two-wheel thing, it isn’t outright apparent that these two “handle-barred beasts” share more than ancient ancestry. Modern Off-road motorcycle and Free-ride bicycle designs side-by-side illustrate how much technology the two have in common.
