Harley-Davidson to Assemble More Models in India
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Harley-Davidson is expanding its assembly operations in India, increasing the number of models imported as complete knockdown kits to nine. Harley-Davidson will now assemble the Fat Boy, Fat Boy Special and Heritage Softail Classic in India, joining six models already being assembled in India. The move follows India’s new budget which increases import duties on motorcycles with engines larger than 800cc to 75% from the previous rate of 60%.

Harley does however really seem to reinforce the stereotype of a typical Harley rider, I’m not sure if I am cool enough but the new Sportster Forty-Eight looks great! Best Western Debuts Global Partnership with Harley-Davidson at 110th Anniversary Event in Rome
Wed, 03 Jul 2013Best Western International debuted its new global partnership with Harley-Davidson in style at Harley’s 110th Celebration in Rome. The 67-year-old hotel company presented hundreds of thousands of attendees with its “Motorcycle-Friendly Hotel” program as part of a four-day celebration at the famous Port of Ostia. Riders in the US, Canada and Mexico already know Best Western is the hotel of choice for real moto-travelers.
