Harley-Davidson Touring description

Ultra Classic is in very good condition. I had the local dealer install a stage II and power commander when I bought this bike new. I also had them adjust the power on the dyno for highway performance. Passing power while loaded.

New rear tire & battery 1000 miles ago, lots of extra HD lights, drivers removable back rest, heated grips, oil temp gauge, HD- XM radio, engine heat deflector, parade fan (blow air between cylinders), HD led's in storage areas, & bike cover.
After market thrust/Vance Hines exhaust. Sounds amazing.
Bike is in very good shape. Never been down.

I reserve the right to end this auction early, due to this bike is for sale locally.

Harley Declares Women Riders Month

Tue, 10 Feb 2009

Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

Fri, 18 May 2012

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
