Harley-Davidson Touring description
It is with
great regret that I am selling my 2006 Electra Glide Classic. I bought it new in November 2005. The color is Black Cherry and Black Pearl. It has a factory alarm system. The only problem I have had with the
motorcycle is with the radio and Harley Davidson replaced it at no charge. I've always had the motorcycle maintained
(except for some of the oil changes) at a Harley dealer. After the first oil change, I started using
synthetic Harley Davidson oil in both the engine and transmission. In October of 2010 I had another 25000 mile
inspection done I replaced both tires.
The reason for “another” 25000 inspection was because of a trip we were
planning to go on. This motorcycle has
given me 31000 miles of trouble free riding, from local rallies, back and forth
to work and trips out west.
I've not had
any modifications done to the engine or transmission. The only modifications I’ve done are for
safety and appearance. Here is a list of
what I've added:

Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with Francesco at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.

Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results
Fri, 01 Nov 2013Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
