When in Rome for Harley’s 110th

In addition to all the other goings-on scheduled for Harley-Davidson’s 110th celebration in Rome, Italy, Pirelli and LowRide magazine are teaming up to bring Italian Motor Company enthusiasts even more. During the June 13-16 celebration Pirelli is setting up shop at Lido di Ostia, transforming the Rome Nautical Club in to the Pirelli Clubhouse for this occasion. Guests at the Pirelli Clubhouse can attend tattooing sessions, where images created by Fashion Tattoo Studio will be imprinted on a range of tires. For those who want to try the thrills of driving a racing car through iconic racetracks around the world, the Formula 1 simulator will be available throughout the four-day celebration. Also on show is the new summer collection of Pzero clothing.  Pirelli technicians will hold product workshops illustrating the importance of tires on custom motorcycles.

Harley-Davidson Confirms 500cc Model on the Way, Says Electric Harleys Not That Far-Fetched

It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. Paul James To Start His 20th Consecutive Road Racing Season At Daytona

Paul James isn’t just another Harley-Davidson employee, he’s one helluva fast rider. For 2014, James will be suiting up for his 20th consecutive season of road racing as he pilots his James Gang/Hoban Brothers Racing Harley-Davidson XR1200 for the AMA Pro Racing Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series season opener at Daytona International Speedway. And he brings with him a new sponsor and a continued relationship with the VETMotorsports program.
