PLEASE READ THIS:  This motorcycle is for sale locally.  If you want to make sure you get it, please use Buy It Now.  If I can, I will sell the bike locally, even if there are bids pending.

This is a vivid black 100th Anniversary Edition Ultra Classic.  It has 64,735 miles and runs great.  There are a couple of extra chrome pieces, Python slip on pipes and a Hi-Flow K&N air filter.  It has no damage, but the bottom of the left engine and bag guard are scratched because I put my foot down in some sand at a stoplight.  Yes, it was embarrassing.  You can't see the scratches unless you bend over and look up.  The scratch on the right upper fork is where I dropped in while moving it in the garage.  The XM radio is not included, but the drink carrier, a pump for the air shocks and a nice Rhode Gear tank bag are.  I didn't put the lowers on for the picture, but they are included also.  The radio and cruise control do not work.  If I were keeping it, I would add a Power Commander.

Q1 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Sales Down 14.7% from 2011

U.S. motorcycle sales were down 14.7% over the first quarter compared to the same period last year, reports the Motorcycle Industry Council. The industry group, which collected data from 20 reporting manufacturers, says American consumers bought 93,375 motorcycles and scooters in the first three months of 2013, down from the 109,425 vehicles purchased in the same period of 2012.

Japanese shop Bike-O is holding a draw with a rather unique grand prize: a used 2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a life-sized figure of anime character Fujiko Mine from the long-running anime and manga series “Lupin III“. We’re not sure whether the motorcycle or the statue is supposed to be the bigger prize here, to be honest. Obviously, we’d rather have an actual road-worthy Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a custom “champagne pink” paint job.
