Harley-Davidson Touring description

This is a true beauty. This road king is awesome. Two owner bike, last owner only put 2000 miles on it in 4 years.

This is a touring bike that gives you the feel you are still on a cruiser. Its got the bags, windshield, adjustable riders seat, upgraded passenger seat, chrome luggage rack, chrome HD foot boards, Chrome Crash bars,  digital fuel gauge, Chrome highway pegs....and oh that head light!....CHROME CHROME CHROME....and to hear that 1450cc sound off through a set of full Vance Hines pipes....WOW...

Going down the road she rides super smooth, the power commander does its job. This thing puts at 70. With only 18,000 miles the new owner is sure to get many more trips in....

This bike also show cases the factory security option. That way when that pretty pearl is shining in the sun showing off its little hints of pink.. all the other drooling passer byes will keep their hands off and if they don't you will know about it :)

As for the ride it shifts through all the gears perfect and just floats down the road. A true pleasure to ride.

Please see all the pictures for condition. The bike overall is in beautiful shape, appears to have never been down. The paint is mint! The frame has no dents or cracks and shines black. The motor purrs perfect and starts up every time and runs perfect. The saddle bags are in very nice shape with no tears or rips or holes, only very minor sun wear on one lip of one bag (see picture)

The exhaust shines bright and sounds amazing. The Vance hines long shots are a two piece exhaust so you can shorten them should you like (see picture where second part is attached)

All lights and blinkers work as they should. Really a great bike.

Milwaukee’s The Iron Horse Hotel

Tue, 19 May 2009

Historically speaking, the kinds of places that have openly accepted or invited motorcycle enthusiasts and their bikes were lacking in a number of areas. While they may have been convenient and offered motorcycle-friendly amenities, they did so with little comfort or luxury. On the other hand, accommodations on the higher end of the spectrum were pretentious and inconvenient for storing bikes and gear.
