Born as Police bike, this Road King has transformed into one of the Nicest bikes around. The bike was taken down and stripped, chromed, built up to be one "Badass" bike with all of the "Goodies" The engine is a 114inch built by one of the most reputable builders in K.C. and only has 10000 miles on it. New Heavy Duty clutch with only 3500 miles on it. Paint is Black Marble, see pics. Hard leather bags, Leather bags on the crash bar, Custom wheels and rotors, steel braided lines, Rinehart Dual exhaust, Custom seat, custom chrome accessories all over this bike. Most accessories are Harley Accessories. Along with the bike I have a like new King Tour Pak and a T-bag that is like new, I also have, not pictured, the original seat and pillion pad along with a short bar with pad and Windshileld. Overall, there has been over $35000.00 spent on this bike over the years and it shows. This bike rides and sounds awesome and is just like riding a Brand New bike. Tires are good, IT'S ALL GOOD. Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson from Japan Washes Up in Canada
Mon, 30 Apr 2012A shipping container holding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with Japanese plates was discovered on a beach in British Columbia, Canada. The container, which appears to be the cargo area of a box truck, is believed to be one of the first notable pieces of debris set adrift by the 2011 Japanese tsunami to land in North America. Beachcomber Peter Mark discovered the containerwhile riding his ATV along an isolated beach on Graham Island, an island south of the Alaskan Panhandle.
Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011
Mon, 17 Oct 2011In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
Harley’s Behind the Scenes at The Art of Rebellion
Wed, 06 May 2009On February 7th, 2009, at the Robert Berman Gallery in Santa Monica’s Bergamot Station Arts Center, Harley-Davidson gathered 11 of today’s most relevant and exciting artists to present their take on the theme of rebellion. Because the event was so popular, The Art of Rebellion one-night only event quickly became a month long showing. Artwork was for sale and the proceeds were donated to Art Matters, a foundation that assists socially and aesthetically groundbreaking artists.
