Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

2014 Biker Belles Symposium At Sturgis Buffalo Chip

On Tuesday, August 5th, at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, the sixth annual Biker Belles symposium presented by Harley-Davidson kicks off at The Lodge at Deadwood. Proceedings get underway with filmmaker, Michelle Carpenter, showing a clip from her new documentary about women riders, “Driven to Ride.” When Carpenter finishes, a panel of leading industry women will address attending participants, including motivational speaker and safety expert, Cat Hammes; Team Diva owner, Diva Amy Skaling; ROAR Motorcycles founder, Kathy Tolleson; National Online Director of Marketing & PR for Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, Audrey Nesbitt; drag racer, Andie Gaskins; and more. Champion Trikes Acquires Lehman Trikes

Champion Trikes and sister company Champion Investments Inc. has assumed operations of Lehman Trikes, saving the company from closing. Trike conversion kit producer Lehman Trikes suspended its operations March 21 after failing the find investors.
