This is a NO RESERVE auction This is a nice example of a good condition custom build 1340 shovelhead including the original pre 70's frame w/ pogo style solo seat and custom paint and body work lots of custom and aftermarket parts(as listed below) Original pre 70's frame w/ 1979 80" shovelhead motor. Motor is kick and electric start. NEW/ AFTERMARKET PARTS
Very nice example of a classic/ custom flh setup. Isn't perfect, but close. does have a couple of paint chips- on the rear/ front fenders(see pics). engine/ trim detailing has some scratches and chips in finish from age. Starter solenoid is weak and recommend replaced(temperamental and works when it wants).I typically kick start it(3-4 kicks) Brakes are in excellent condition.Tires are in good condition w/ 50% tread left. Engine doesnt smoke and has good compression w/ no oil blow bye on the rings Bike has a clean/ clear Numbers matching Michigan title Buyer responsible for all shipping costs.Bike is located in Durand,MI zip 48429.Local pickup offered. 2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters Receive ABS and Keyless Security Options
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed a five-model Sportster lineup for 2014 with some minor updates including new options for ABS and the H-D Smart Security System. The 2014 Sportster line consists of the 883cc SuperLow and Iron 883 and the 1200cc Forty-Eight, Seventy-Two and 1200 Custom. All five models received new brakes, with larger 300mm front rotors replacing the old 292mm discs.
