1973 Harley Davidson Electra Glide 1200 cc 74 cubic inch Shovelhead RevTech 5 speed trans, Heel/toe shifter with floorboards, Belt drive primary (Belt replaced 2 years ago with less than 200 miles on it), S&S Shorty carb and manifold, chain on rear, Electric and kick start, Top end was done about 5 years ago, Totally rewired, New battery and fresh oil change, ready for the road! Buyer responsible for pickup. Please ask any and all questions B4 bidding. Need extra pictures just let me know. There will be no refunds unless grossly misrepresented. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time because the bike is also listed for sale locally. Bonhams To Sell Garelli Grand Prix Collection At No Reserve
Wed, 28 Nov 2012Mark your calendars for February 5 and 6, 2013, as those are the dates when Bonhams — one of the world’s largest auctioneers of fine arts and antiques — will put for sale two motorcycle collections which include some incredibly rare and historic machines. The Grand Palais in Paris, France will play host to the auction, which includes the entire Garelli Grand Prix collection as its headliner. Founded in 1919, many famous Italian racers got their starts on Garelli motorcycles.
Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation
Thu, 17 May 2012Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
