Harley-Davidson Touring description
This is an original, unrestored 1959 Duo Glide that I purchased from the daughter of the original owner. It is a beautiful, running, dependable motorcycle in its current state. Comes with original title and is also titled and registered in my name. I was told by the previous owner that the paint is original and I am very confident that this is true but I am not an original paint expert. Current title says the bike has 150,000 miles but I can't substantiate that. Motor has obviously been rebuilt at some point in its life and it's obvious that it was done right. It runs beautifully with no smoke or strange noises and transmission shifts perfectly. 6 volt electrical system. All #s are correct and matching. This is a bike that has been absolutely loved and cherished it's entire life. The new owner will be a very lucky person to have such a rare unmolested example.

The AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class makes its much-anticipated return to Road America this weekend. The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.Wed, 01 Apr 2009 00:00:00 -0700
