I have up for sale my 2014 Forty Eight. Long story short, I have a 49 state Harley that does not meet California requirements and now unable to register it.
History of the bike- I bought this as a floor model from MAS (Military Auto Source) Iwakuni, Japan last September. The bike has been in storage for the winter. With last minute order changes, I unexpectedly had to pack up and ship it to California in February and later arrive in April. Upon numerous attempts to register it here, I'm cutting my losses and will put it up for sale. Extras- I also purchased this bike with a 5 year transferable warranty with unlimited tires. Harley-Davidson to Assemble More Models in India
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Harley-Davidson is expanding its assembly operations in India, increasing the number of models imported as complete knockdown kits to nine. Harley-Davidson will now assemble the Fat Boy, Fat Boy Special and Heritage Softail Classic in India, joining six models already being assembled in India. The move follows India’s new budget which increases import duties on motorcycles with engines larger than 800cc to 75% from the previous rate of 60%.
