Bike has many upgrades and extras too many to list: Converted with screaming eagle 1200 kit, and intake Z bars, new mirrors, exhaust, exhaust covers, pegs all Harley Parts New Battery list goes on just look at the pictures and you will see. 5000 mile service done by Harley dealer With bike ill give extra parts: sissy bar, single seat, double seat, LaRosa solo Sidebag, detachable solo rack Bike is flat camo green right now. Plasti dipped it myself great look and COMPLETELY removable, factory color is silver in beautiful condition due to the fact that it has been protected by the removable coating. Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson from Japan Washes Up in Canada
Mon, 30 Apr 2012A shipping container holding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with Japanese plates was discovered on a beach in British Columbia, Canada. The container, which appears to be the cargo area of a box truck, is believed to be one of the first notable pieces of debris set adrift by the 2011 Japanese tsunami to land in North America. Beachcomber Peter Mark discovered the containerwhile riding his ATV along an isolated beach on Graham Island, an island south of the Alaskan Panhandle.
Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
Bonhams To Auction Wayne Pierce Family Collection Of Motorcycles Jan. 9, 2014, In Las Vegas
Fri, 04 Oct 2013On January 9, 2014, during the fourth annual Las Vegas Sale of motorcycles at Bally’s Hotel and Casino, Bonhams, the world’s largest auction house for cars, motorcycles and memorabilia, will be auctioning off over 50 motorcycles from the extensive Wayne Pierce family museum collection, all offered at no reserve. Among the machines is a first-year Harley-Davidson Sportster believed to be the 10th XL883 produced in 1957, a 1933 Harley VLE police bike that saw actual duty on the streets of Chicago before being cast in the 1987 Kevin Costner gangster movie, “The Untouchables,” and an authentic and unrestored 1947 Harley Knucklehead wearing period aftermarket accessories. Wayne “Pappy” Pierce started his Harley-Davidson dealership in 1957, run out of a one-room tin shed in DeKalb, Illinois.
