Power is big and immediate, with the rubber-mounted, chrome-covered Evolution engine. The high-compression, high-flow heads and performance cams get you going. The 4.5-gallon tank keeps you going longer. Just like the custom theme. Forward foot controls. Bullet headlight. And a brand-new optional Profile Laced wheel, shown here. Ohio Man to be Buried on 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide
Fri, 31 Jan 2014Billie Leo Standley died last weekend from lung cancer, but before he died, the 82-year-old wished for the world to know he was going to ride off to heaven. To accomplish this wish, Standley and his family made arrangements for him to buried in a Plexiglas casket riding his 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
