Hello All,
up for sale is my 1996 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 Sport. Bike runs perfect and has been fully maintained, I changed the oil with genuine Harley oil and filter 500 miles ago. Battery and tires are new from last year. Included is a mans Harley armored riding jacket, a ladies Harley armored jacket. A ladies set of chaps and ladies leather jacket. A chrome Harley half helmet, a Harley full face flip up helmet, a set of mens 10 1/2 riding boots and a set of riding gloves. Everything you see in the pics is included, there is a set of long stem mirrors, a helmet bag, a nice bag that mounts onto the sissy bar and holds an extra set of clothes or gear. Inside the sissy bar bag is a cargo net and a form fitting plastic cover in case its raining (for covering the bag). There is also a genuine Harley service manual..... I don't know if I have forgotten anything---I will add to description if I remember anything. Bike is located in Andover CT. I'm selling it because I need an engine for my 1971 Nova SS and have decided that I would have more enjoyment with that and my family then the bike. Thanks

Harley-Davidson to Assemble More Models in India
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Harley-Davidson is expanding its assembly operations in India, increasing the number of models imported as complete knockdown kits to nine. Harley-Davidson will now assemble the Fat Boy, Fat Boy Special and Heritage Softail Classic in India, joining six models already being assembled in India. The move follows India’s new budget which increases import duties on motorcycles with engines larger than 800cc to 75% from the previous rate of 60%.
Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
