1973 Sportster chopper. Frame is a OEM front with a +2" David Bird hard tail. 16" rear wheel - chrome is rough 21" front wheel - Visionary Cycle Products WM0 rim, Buchanan's stainless spokes and nipples, Avon Speed Master, pre '71 drum brake Forks - 6 over k-model, Forking by Frank tubes Sissy bar and seat were hand made by me, sissy is raw steel. Tank is a Lowbrow Customs Narrow Sporty tank. Old chrome z-bars and two piece bar clamp. S&S super E carb Old Chrome oil tank Pistons, rings, and cylinders honed 400 miles ago. New points, and condensor. New primary chain Runs and rides, motor has always been very strong, handles well. Needs a valve job, valves have sunk in seats and spring retainers are beginning to hit rocker arms. Valves would really need to be done before it's ridden anywhere. Tins are in primer. Green bar bag is not included. Clean NY title in my name. There is no odometer, mileage is an estimate. Will ship at the buyers expense. |

Harley-Davidson Reveals “Twin-Cooled” Engine with Precision Liquid Cooling
Mon, 19 Aug 2013As we gleaned from recently revealed CARB documents, Harley-Davidson has introduced two new liquid cooled engines. The new engines use a combination of air-cooling and precision liquid cooling, similar to what BMW did with its 2013 R1200GS. One version of the engine, dubbed the Twin-Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103 will be used on the 2014 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited and the Tri-Glide Ultra trike while the CVO Limited will use a 110ci engine known as the Screamin’ Eagle Twin-Cooled Twin Cam 110.

Sat, 27 Jul 2013Reagan Imhoff dreams of a career in art, and the determined 8-year-old and MDA Ambassador won’t let Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II get in the way of those dreams. Her parents’ New Berlin, WI, home is plastered with hundreds of her drawings, and a painting of hers sold for $5,000 at the MDA Black-N-Blue Ball in May. Local artist and Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz is encouraging her passion.

Fri, 19 Dec 2008Every year it seems that newspaper advertisements, radio and TV commercials for Christmas start earlier and earlier. As soon as the sun begins to set on Halloween, department stores begin packing shelves and websites start stocking inventory in preparation for the impending feeding frenzy that will occur for the most commercial of holidays next to valentine’s day. While spending the holiday with family normally keeps me blitzed off eggnog and most of these aforementioned advertisements are enough to make me want to book a cruise for an entire fortnight at the end of December, this one commercial for Harley-Davidson made me laugh.
