1965 Harley Davidson XLCH Sportster 900cc VERY FRESH VERY FAST!!! Very nicely built street tracker style XLCH Sportster with a freshly rebuilt motor including a 61ci. top end, Edelbrock Quicksilver carburetor and the typical XLCH magneto ignition. This little beauty has the dirt track style look with the hard tail rear frame section, solo seat with P pad mounted on the lightweight rear fender, 35mm. Ceriani front suspension with a 19 inch front and 18 inch wheel rims, straight pipe exhaust and custom built oil tank. This motorcycle is selling with a clear California title and is ready for show or go. Very fast! NOTE! Harley-Davidson Reports Q4 2011 Results
Tue, 24 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson reported a 10.9% growth in motorcycle sales in the fourth quarter and a total annual growth of 5.9% for 2011. The growth resulted in a net profit of $599.1 million for Harley-Davidson. The Motor Company sold 235,188 motorcycles in 2011, up from 222,110 units sold in 2010.
Harley-Davidson Recalls Over 100,000 Touring Models, 1400 Street Models
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Harley-Davidson has recalled more than 105,000 Touring models from the 2014 model year, and approximately 1400 Street models from the 2015 model year. The Touring models have been recalled due to a possible failure of a component in the clutch master cylinder. This possible failure could cause a reduction in pressure available to keep the clutch disengaged, according to the NHTSA.
