Unmolested 1958 XLCH Stock frame with uncut fenders, correct front brake hub,steel wheels,original seat pan with new leather included but not pictured .Has original Fairbanks Morris magneto and linkert sidebowl carb.Steering dampner intact .Comes with extra mag ,carb,skid plate ,front tubes ,handlebars.First year for XLCH.Very few have survived .This is a relisting because of no payment .Please do not bid if you cannot follow through .Have owned since 1983 and has been in storage for the last 20 .It does turn over but it needs a rebuild .I am aware what condition it is in so I do not need the "experts"to tell me .Good luck

Margie Siegal, former columnist for IronWorks Magazine and motorcycle enthusiast has written a book on the history of the world’s most famous motorcycle, Harley-Davidson. Entitled,  Harley-Davidson: A History of the World’s Most Famous Motorcycle, the book ties together the mechanical evolution of the Harley engines, the social history of Harley and the beautiful visuals associated with Harleys in design, advertising, artful photography and collectibles. Harley-Davidson are words that evoke the open American road and the “Made in America” tradition like no others.

Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?

Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.
