 This motorcycle is in like-new condition and has not been ridden excessively.  There are no blemishes on the bike.  It has extra chrome, wide tire kit, stage II kit for the motor, and in addition to the wide tire kit and rear fender has a bobtail with matching paint.  I am the original owner of the bike and have invested almost $30,000 in the bike.  Anyone who purchases this motorcycle will be obtaining a truly fine vehicle at an excellent price.  Shipping is on the customer, can be custom shipped to any location at customer's expense; shipping will vary based on location.  Bike will be shipped when full payment is received.  $500.00 down within 72 hours, and the remainder within 10 days.  Location is the State of Colorado near Denver.

Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed

The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.

Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico

Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.
