Enjoy mile after mile with a large capacity 5 gal. Softail fuel tank. The H-D Softail model's tank is also dripping with authentic Harley-Davidson style. The Harley FLSTC model has full length rider footboards with rubber vibration isolation for added comfort. Another of the many great features of this classic motorcycle is the detachable motorcycle windshield. You can remove the Harley Heritage Softail windshield for a new look. Learn more about the style and functional components found on this bike.

This one also has the optional LED third taillight in backrest and anti-lock brake option.

Bike is pretty clean; there is a small spot on the tank that has touchup paint. The rear passenger pillion has a small imperfection as well. The chrome shines and cleans up great. I bought the bike without the saddle bags and added from an earlier model. The bags are not perfect, some scuffs and the ever present saggy bag syndrome on one lid. I bought them for functionality and they are not a cheap item, these are factory Heritage bags too.  I’m overseas so she may need a polish, last rode in May. She runs out great; love the 103 and the 6 speed. I don’t think the exhaust is stock but it’s not too loud. This would be a great starter bike as she sites low and is agile.

The Ram Cell phone holder does not come with the bike.

This bike is listed locally and will be pulled from Ebay if sold, there is interest so Buy It Now.

2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout Unveiled at Daytona Bike Week

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

In a rare move, Harley-Davidson has unveiled a base version of its Breakout months after first launching the exclusive Custom Vehicle Operations version. Presented at the 2013 Daytona Bike Week, the 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout offers a similar low and muscular profile as the CVO version but at prices starting at $17,899 compared to the premium model’s $26,999 price point. Tom Roderick reviewed the 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout last August, saying it “continues the tradition of exclusivity, performance and style customers have come to expect from Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations.” But take away the premium CVO features and what do you have?

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.

Motus Hires Former H-D Test Rider + Video

Wed, 09 Apr 2014

Bruce Edmiston was a Harley-Davidson test rider for over 20 years. In that time, he estimates he’s racked up well north of 500,000 miles on a wide variety of motorcycles from many different parts of the world. He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.
